As we leave Dominica on our way to Fort-de-France, Martinique, we want to acknowledge the help and generosity of Polly Pattullo, who accompanied our group throughout most of our stay on the island. Polly, the author of Last Resorts: The Cost of Tourism in the Caribbean, and a until recently a writer for the Guardian newspaper in London, guided our student through their research projects on culture and tourism in Dominica.
